Currently we are extending the analysis of lin-25, a gene acting downstream of let-60 ras in the pathway for vulval induction and carrying out genetic screens for new mutations affecting vulval cell fate specification. More details are available on request. We are looking for an individual with a strong interest in signal transduction preferably with a training in classical genetics, cell or molecular biology. The position is initially available for two years but can be extended. Please send inquiries to: Dr. Simon Tuck UCMP, Umeå University, S-901 87 Umeå, Sweden.
