1998 East Coast C. elegans Meeting Boston University Boston, MA June 5-7 The 1998 East Coast C. elegans meeting will be held at Boston University, Boston, MA on Friday, June 5 - Sunday, June 7. The meeting will begin with a platform session on Friday evening and end after the platform session Sunday morning. Registration and Abstract Deadline: April 22, 1998 Registration and abstract forms are due with fees on April 22--no later! We request that all attendees submit abstracts, even if you do not present a talk or poster. Meeting information: Information on the 1998 East Coast C. elegans meeting can be accessed at: http://xanadu.mgh.harvard.edu/ECWM97 starting January 30th. This page will include all registration and abstract material and further announcements, directions, schedule information, and a link to the abstracts. Electronic submission of abstracts: WWW submission of your abstract is required. To submit via WWW (using Mosaic or Netscape): 1) Open the URL http://eatworms.swmed.edu/ Click on C. elegans Meetings. or 1) Open http://xanadu.mgh.harvard.edu/ECWM97 2) Click on East Coast Meeting Abstract Submission and follow the instructions that appear. You may submit either plain ASCII text or formatted abstracts in HTML. Hard copy submission of abstracts: A hard copy of your abstract is also required. a) Submit on standard 8x11 paper. b) Left margin should be 1.5 inches, right margin 1 inch, bottom margin at least 0.75 inches. c) Abstract should include title, authors, and addresses, followed by text. d) In bottom margin, please indicate whether you wish to present a talk or poster or whether you are just submitting an abstract. Please note that due to time constraints, only 1 in 4 people will be able to give talks. Please make the two abstracts as identical as possible. We will use the hard copy to make the meeting book. We will use the electronic version to post abstracts to the web- about a week before the meeting so that the worm community will know what is being presented at the meeting.
